Milwaukee, Wisconsin (June 10, 2011)-Jeff Courtney and the JCR Motorsports team is prepared to take the #99 JCR Motorsports/KENDA Tires/Dodge Viper ACR-X to the track at Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2011 Dodge Viper Cup at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey this weekend, June 11th and 12th. As the summer heat rolls in, more than just the competition is heating up. “Weather will again be a factor for us in these rounds,” said Courtney. Temperatures are expected to be in the 90s with a high chance of thunderstorms to change track conditions. “It”s always difficult to chase car set-up not knowing whether the track is going to be full-wet, partial-wet, or dry.”
The JCR Motorsports team is also welcoming a new member on board. New to the team, but not new to Courtney, is Rick Maxwell. Maxwell has worked closely with Courtney during the last four years on the Woodhouse Racing Team in the World Challenge series. “I’m thrilled to have Rick on board,” said Courtney. “He knows everything there is to know about Vipers and he is going to be a great asset to the team.”
Courtney is currently ranked 2nd in the Viper Cup series standings. The JCR Motorsports Team is poised for another victory lap, this time in New Jersey.
