Courtney heads back to California for the World Challenge Grand Prix of Monterey at Laguna Seca Raceway

Milwaukee, Wisconsin (September 13, 2011) — Jeff Courtney, driver of the #99 KENDA Tires/ Porsche GT3 Cup Car is heading to the Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway near Monterey, California for his third World Challenge Race of the 2011 season. “This track is one of my favorites, it has been a good fast track for me in the past and I hope to prove that this weekend.” said Courtney.

Hoping the third times a charm, this will be the third different GMG Porsche he has raced in during the last three World Challenge events. “We had a very unlucky and unfortunate start to our season with a mechanical failure that lead to a crash at Mid-Ohio which forced a chain reaction bouncing me from car to car” said Courtney.092811

Courtney will be running Dino Crescentini’s back up Porsche for the Grand Prix of Monterey and the season’s final race Petite Le Mans at Road Atlanta. “Thanks to Dino and James for pulling together to make this possible for the last two World Challenge events” said Courtney. GMG Motorsports has put together a great team of drivers and entered three Porsche GT Cup Cars in the Grand Prix of Monterey, hoping to gain valuable team points in this weekend’s race.
