MILWAUKEE, WI (August 22, 2012)—Jeff Courtney is preparing for the finale of the 2012 World-Challenge Series race season as he and the #99 Kenda Tires/RecStuff.com Porsche take to the newly-configured track at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California.
“This is the earliest we’ve ended a race season,” says Courtney, “I am looking to end 2012 on a good note although we’ll miss being on the track during September and October.”
The upcoming Sonoma Grand Prix will be run on a new track configuration, set up for the Indy Car series. “It’s a great place to race and I love coming here.” said Courtney.
Courtney’s #99 Kenda Tires/RecStuff.com Porsche will be featuring the Kenda Tires 50th Anniversary logo.
“Kenda has been a long-time partner with me in motorsports, and I wish them the very best,” says Courtney, “I look forward to helping them celebrate their anniversary in September and would love to bring home a trophy to help celebrate!”
This weekend’s race promises to be very competitive as the huge field of 55 entries all look to make put a positive finish on the 2012 World-Challenge Series.
