Jeff Courtney Racing To Debut Audi R8 LMS At The Streets Of St. Petersburg

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Jeff Courtney Racing is excited to announce plans to return to the Pirelli World Challenge championships in 2013. JCR will campaign a new manufacturer, the Kenda/RecStuff.com Audi R8 LMS and will debut at the Streets of St. Petersburg for a double-header race weekend March 23-24.

“After the late off season decision to make a brand change, the team and everyone have worked so hard during the last month to pull this program together – I can’t thank everyone enough,” stated Jeff Courtney. “I’m very excited to get in the car and get back to racing.”

Kenda and RecStuff.com are returning to support Courtney in 2013 along with STaSIS, JG Wheels and GoPro. Courtney is confirmed to run the Streets of St. Petersburg, Streets of Long Beach, Circuit of the Americas, Mid-Ohio and the Sonoma Grand Prix. Driver Courtney will reunite a partnership with STaSIS, who helped him win Rookie of the Year in the series’ Touring Car division, back in 2006. The new car and partnership has resulted in a great deal of work and efforts over the off season. Jeff Courtney Racing is enthusiastic about the switch and to be heading down to the Streets of St. Petersburg for the season opener.

“We are very excited to continue our support with Jeff Courtney in the upcoming 2013 season. Jeff and his team have done a great job preparing the #99 Audi R8 LMS and we are excited to see the car in action,” said Jimmy Yang, President of Kenda Tire.
