JCR Motorsports Heads to Canada

Milwaukee, WI – May 15, 2015 – JCR Motorsports makes their way north of the boarder to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (Mosport) in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada for Rounds 8 and 9 of GTA and GT Cup competition this weekend May 15-17, 2015.

Jeff Courtney, of Milwaukee, WI, has experienced an interesting season of ups and downs thus far in 2015 and hopes to put his No. 99 Kenda Tire/RecStuff.com Audi R8 Ultra up front this weekend at Mosport. Courtney and the JCR Motorsports team have worked on the development their Audi R8 Ultra to the best of their ability at every event.

“I love Mosport, it’s an awesome track,” said Courtney. “The cool thing about this place is that even on your fastest lap you feel like you have something left on the table. Although we are still unsatisfied with our BoP we’ll make the best of it and hope for good results.”

Mitch Landry, of Lake Charles, LA, currently sits in seventh place in the ultra competitive GT Cup class. Landry has scored two podium finishes thus far and hopes to put his No. 97 Deep South/VersaCrane Porsche 911 GT3 Cup on the podium once again this weekend at Mosport.

“I like this place, it’s scary and really fast,” said Landry. “It’s been a few years since I have been here so we’ll see what happens during the race.”

GTA and GT Cup action kicks off on Thursday, May 14 with two unofficial test sessions at 10:20 AM and 2:35 PM. Friday, May 15 brings the first official practice session at 9:35 AM followed by qualifying at 3:05 PM. Round 8 goes green at 1:15 PM on Saturday, May 16 and the weekend concludes with Round 9 on Sunday, May 17 at 3:00 PM.
